Careful What You Post
Remember, anything you post on social media can be seen by the whole world. So, be careful about what you share. Some things might not seem like a big deal, but they could actually put you at risk.
For example, if you post pictures from your vacation while you’re still on vacation, you’re basically telling everyone that your house is empty. Or, if you post a picture of your house with you holding your the key, someone could easily make a copy of the key from the photo.
And if you’re a social media influencer, be extra careful about what you post. Your followers might be more interested in your life than you think, and they could use the information you share to find out where you live.
So, before you post anything on social media, ask yourself: would I want everyone in the world to know this? If the answer is no, then don’t post it.
